hello,
i have an openbox receiver, i use the mgcamd emulator and have copied my login details exactley correct on to a newcamd.list file on my usb.....it uploads ok and i can login fine....one problem though:
when i've checked my 'connections history' it says:

Number of requests from different emulators (receivers)

IMPORTANT! Only one connection is allowed per one port (one receiver - one emulator - one connection). Be sure that your login and password are used for the only receiver. Also be sure that your receiver runs the only emulator. In case that several emulators are installed, only one of the emulators to have status "Running" with the run type "Auto"!
Violation of rule No.9

this is rubbish as ive only got one reciever!....why is this message saying this???

Hi,
Delete the second server from your newcamd.list settings, restart emulator and enjoy.
Your receiver is sending requests to the both servers available in your settings - main one and backup. Delete backup server.

Hi

I'm also getting this, one receiver (Protek) and 3 different emulators recorded.

Is the moderator able to provide the ip addresses reported, I occasionally use a VPN but would have thought that's not the problem as it should only be my computer that's affected.

I updated the firmware on my receiver to get subtitles working but went back to the old firmware when it failed to resolve the problem, but I would have thought my ip address to remain the same.

I'd like to understand whats happening

If you could throw some light on the matter, I would not wish to be banned

John

Hi,
VPN, or IP address or anything like that do not affect subtitles. It's a matter of your firmware (receiver).
Try to enable subtitles for the channel you want and wait for some time.
I checked with my DM800 and other provider, subtitles appeared in a couple of minutes, but not immediately. I think, this is a matter of a signal response to your commands.
