Worried I'm going to get banned
Have been trying to configure OSCAM correctly for 5 or so days now, and have been doing my best to correct problems as soon as I've spotted them.. previously it was simple violations like "EMM Request" which I found out was because I was using CCcam protocol with OSCAM, so switched all that over.
However, today was decoding CAID 0963, logged in and saw "Violation: Requests for channel decoding above daily limit 562"... checking IP says I'm not banned (yet) but there is a section underneath saying "Other Violation: 24.10.2018 11:52:31 (2734 years from now) Cascading on main or backup server [VIOLATION]"
MEGA PANIC! Now, I went through the config and my OSCAM logs and it appears the problem was that in the recommended settings for OSCAM under "My Subscription" 3 lots of ports (ports XXX40, XXX52, and XXX42) were all pointing to ident 0963 and I believe this means I was sending decoding requests 3x more than I should have been.
I have therefore removed ports XXX52 and XXX42 so that ident 0963 is only in my config once as main and once as fallback and have been watching the connections history and it is no longer going up! So I just want to make sure that I'm not going to be banned permanently for this! As I am trying my best to stick to the rules, and I did literally just copy/paste the config from the Recommended Config section.
I would ask for your understanding and assistance in this matter
