Let's start a topic for OScam. (yes i know, i posted other OScam topic in a wrong place, sorry. Bit stupid of me).

The reader configuration for oscam.server configuration file you get from cardsharingserver looks like:
[reader]
Label = name of cardserver
Protocol = newcamd
Device = url,xxxxx
Key = xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Account = myusername,mypassword
Fallback = x
Group = x
Caid = xxxx
Ident = xxxxxx
Issue is, that the option "Account" is not mention is the official OScam wiki: http://streamboard.gmc.to/wiki/OSCam/en/Config/oscam.server#user (http://streamboard.gmc.to/wiki/OSCam/en/Config/oscam.server#user)
So what i did is, change account in username & password, like this:
[reader]
label = name of cardserver
protocol = newcamd
device = url,xxxxx
key = xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
user = myusername
password = mypassword
fallback = x
group = x
caid = xxxx
ident = xxxxxx
I got it working here.
Only i got sometimes a little interruption in signal(freezes for a few seconds). I guess it has to do with responce time of the tuner & server. How can we make that better, so that screen doesn't freeze so many times.
So maybe we as OScam users can experiment with OScam configuration to tweak the softcam so that it all runs smooth.
Cool thing of OScam is, it is compatible with other softcam protocols, like MGcamd, CCcam and so on. (see OScam Wiki)
I choose to use only OScam, because it's a highly configurable softcam. And very high development level (perhaps because it's open souce).
