Openbox S10 problem

Hi All

I have just got the Openbox S10 and came across this site for a Subscription.

I have tested the box using my old CCcam CLine and works fines.

I have purchased a months Subscription to 28.2E using the Newcamd52Protocol.

When i update the Box with the newcamd.list (Successfull) it does not clear any channels

What am i doing wrong please?

Box: Openbox S10
Cam: MGCamd
Sat: 28.2E
Protocol: Newcamd525

Cccam is not recommended here. Read the forum- what is allowed and what is not. All your questions arise because you ignore reading the forum.

Of course, Cccam and Mgcamd are different emulators requiring different files and settings.
newcamd.list is used for mgcamd emulator.

Followed the guide but still no luck, All i get is scrambled.

Is there a log file that will tell me if my account is active or if there is a problem?

The Cline i used is from a different Server - not this one. (only used it to verify the box was working)

I have no idea about your subscription- you have to check in the billing- when it must be active (date). Log-file is also on your part - provide your log-file of your connection to the server. Without your log-file, it is not possible to study the problem, if any. Have you checked your internet connection? Is it OK? Have you taken a test to check if everything is OK?

To use newcamd protocol, you need mgcamd and CWS line, not Cline.

P.S. 28.2E is not subscription. Subscription is Sky UK, Sky De, +HD etc etc

I am using the CWS with MGcamd and my Subscription is Sky UK +HD

Is there a log file within the box that i could lokk at?

My Subscription started today as i ordered it last night.

I was having a similar problem with my S10. Remove your ignore file and everything comes in fine. I don't think SKY UK are using just 0963 I think most channels are now 0960.

Hiya

I have a openbox S10
I am having a problem when i change channels all channels no longer work i just get scrambled
I can leave the same channel running fine all day long but as soon as i start changing channels it fails

It is especially bad on the HD Sports (im on Uk SKY 28E subscription)
If i reboot the s10 and my router all works again

I have changed firmware, tested my internet, replaced my router, Installed the ignore and replace files
As soon as i do install the ignore and replace files as recommened nothing works untill i delete them?

Ive done all i can think of

Im thinking is this maybe a fault with my channel list? i got it from the openbox forum
Is one of my channels causing this? in a effort to test i deleted all my channels and did a blind scan but fault still remains
Id love to be able to get some sort of fault log but you cant telnet to the openbox and the only files you can access fia FTP is the newcam.list the ignore and replace files and the channels

Any ideas?

Try to delete ignore, priority, replace lists at all and restart tuner.
See the result and write here what happenned.

If i upload the ignore and priority lists to the box then i get no channels at all to work.
If i remove them then i can get all channels to work again but the problem is not solved.
it still happens when i start changing channels, they all stop working and i have to reboot

I only uploaded the ignore and replace files in effort to fix the original problem

If you paid attention to the topic http://www.cardsharing.cc/index.php?topic=26799.0 (Configs for fast channel zap using Mgcamd emulator) - that's what you call "changing channels" - it's ignore and priority lists. They are making zap channels faster. Your Openbox does quite opposite. It means, that firmware is not ideal. Try, then, to change your firmware. That is my solution.

I Will try some other firmwares with replace and ignore files and try and find one that works. Will post my results

I have exactly the same problem, started when I took out my latest subscription and tried server3.
My box tried to connect so many times I ended up getting banned and now I struggle to do anything.
Reverted back to server1 and things worked for a couple of hours but then constantly offline.
It can't be the box or firmware as these worked fine upto the end of my last subscription but not now.
If you find a solution please share as I'm slowly going crazy.

Having problems here too, server showed online but all channels were scrmbled last night. This morning i got 2 sky sports channels for about 20 seconds and now all are scrambled. i am using an Openbox S10, i am not sure where to get this log file, the server is showing online again. I have loaded the priority.list the ignore.list and the replace.list and put my settings in the newcamd.list.
